Stargate SG-1 Season 10 DVD

July 24, 2007 is the release date for Season ten of Stargate SG-1.

I've only seen a few episodes of season 10, but I've found it to be a lot more enjoyable then the last few seasons. I do miss Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and don't feel that Mitchell lives up the leader of the team, but Jackson and Carter (Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping) help round things out.

The story line seems rather 'galactic' with the Ori. I tired of the whole Gu'a'uld (spelling is most likely wrong on that word) plots of seasons past, and having a real threat to deal with was great.

And this should be the last season of Stargate: SG-1. Two made-for-tv movies will be coming out in the next year or two, so Stargate won't be gone forever. And lets not forget Stargate Atlantis. Amanda Tapping is heading over that way next season. Now if only Anderson would take up residence there...
