One thing about Lost's Through the Looking Glass
SPOILERS SPACE
When Jack was in the hospital, after he stole the pain medication, the new "Chief" asked him if he was drunk.
Jack said he should call his Dad and if he was drunker than his dad, he should be fired.
But the flashback was a flash forward. And Christian Shepard is dead.
So what's the deal with that?
(And, yes, I'm still processing that episode. I may have nine months worth of thoughts about it!)

Great season finale!
Great season finale! Definitely some wicked mind games. Haven’t quite figured out where they are going, so it has accomplished it’s goal. That is -keeping me tuned in when the next season starts. I liked the end. I have been reading that the castaways are in some kind of weird time loop maybe. Because remember when Charlie heard that the computer was programmed by a musician? Like some kind of weird Deja Vu? That might somehow explain Jack's dad. Who knows?!

I loved season one...season
I loved season one...season two was equally good...season three has me wondering if I am even going to watch season four. They are flip flopping the characters so much that they are hard to form an attachment to. I think they made a mistake by not running reruns in the summer to keep people involved. I need to like the people at least one or two of them to form an attachment and right now since they killed off Charlie and fowled up everyone else accept Desmon the verdict is out whether I will be a loyal fan or not.

I'll agree that season three
I'll agree that season three wasn't as good as it could have been. The first part (fall) was bad, but in the end it was necessary to give us some insight into the Others. It did get a lot better at the end.
But the problem with running reruns is that you really need to see the show in order without missing anything. So it would be great for the faithful who happened to miss an episode or two; for new fans, it would be too confusing.
(Imagine that, attaching the world 'confusing' to Lost
)
What ABC should be doing is running spots that tell people to check out itunes (or where ever they have the shows) to catch up on things.
As for Charlie, he had to die. You don't spend months setting that up to not kill him. At least he went out like a hero.
Season Four is interesting because of the flash-forward we got. I'm curious to find out what they're going to do.
Basically, I trust the producers to tell their story, and I'll most likely be with them 'till the end.

If I remember correctly,
If I remember correctly, I’m sure that the coffin carrying Jack’s dad was empty when the plaine crashed. Then he saw his dad on the island a few times. I’m thinking he was never dead.

well the coffin was indeed
well the coffin was indeed empty - Christian was no where to be found - except as that “vision” - like Kate’s horse.
But I’m sure Jack identified the body at the morgue.
But if Christian is alive in the flash-forward season finale, then something odd is going on.
