So begins Good Omens, which has to be one of the funniest books about the end of the world. And it all happens because a nun misplaced the Antichrist.

Not only is the Antichrist misplaced, but the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley work to stop Armageddon because they rather like Earth.

Then you've got the Bike Riders of the Apocalypse (the Hell's Angels), Newton, and the Witch Finder General.

And the hell hound, Dog.

This is a book that I re-read every few years. It's absolutely brilliant.
