Ugly Betty - September 27, 2007 - How Betty Got Her Grieve Back

OhMyGod! (That's me channeling Justin.) How sad were the Santos/Hilda scenes? And by sad I mean emotionally wrenching. Those series of scenes in Hilda's room are probably my favorites in the whole cannon of Ugly Betty. Emmy nod to Ana Ortiz next year?

There was a lot going on this episode. I'm glad Justin (Mark Indelicato) will be getting more screen time as he interns at Mode. Can't wait to see how Mark (Michael Urie) handles having a little version of himself working with Wilhemina (Vanessa Williams).

Wilhemina is always more... human when she's around kids. Like her daughter. They do bring out the best in her. (I wonder if her daughter will return for the wedding with Bradford?)

Alexis wakes from a coma thinking she's Alex.

Mark and an emotional-eating-and-getting-fat-so-lets-make-fun-of-her Amanda (Becki Newton) confront Amanda's family about her being adopted - and Claire Meade's (the delightful Judith Light) daughter.

And Betty buried her past with Henry - literally - just in time for him to come back.

Now that was a busy episode.
