Has Weird Al Yankovic Ruined Your Life?

On Weird Al Yankovic 46th birthday (he was born on October 23, 1959) I have to ask this question: Has Weird Al ruined music for you?

What I mean is, when a song that he parodied comes on the radio, do you sing the parody version over the real version? For example, whenever Lola comes on the radio, I always sing "Yoda, Y-O-D-A Yoda. Yo-Yo-Yo-Yoooo-Da." Achy-Breaky Hearts becomes "don't play that song, that achy-breaky song, the most annoying song I know. And if you play that song, that achy-breaky song, I might throw out my radio." There's no more "Like A Virgin;" it's "Like A Surgeon." And of course, The Rye or the Kaiser.

So, is it just me?

Yes, Weird Al ruined my life. But I'm too busy Living in an Amish Paradise to think about music.

scott, you may have misunderstood (or I wasn't extremely clear.) I love Weird Al. Always Have. (And I'm talking way back when Michael Jackson was popular and not the freak he is today.) (That is, of course, referring to 'Eat It'.)

I had completely forgotten about this website!
I'm a lot more mature now and I honestly wonder what I what I was thinking back then.
Yes, I still listen to Weird Al, he is awesomeness.
But, I've now opened up to more music, not just little parodies.
And yes, I do sing over the top of music on the radio,
Only for one reason....
Because my whole family loves me singing, they think I'm really good(which I am),
But I enjoy having fun, singing comedic songs, then singing a boring love song.
