What do you like about American Idol?

me, I like the auditions. Seeing the worst of America just makes me feel better about myself.

I generally just watch the auditions, and then the last couple of episodes. I'll leave the picking of the wheat from the chaff to the rest of the country.

I will tell you what I hate. I hate to see people with real talent go home. It's pretty sad.

Seeing Bo lose last time confirmed to me the lack of validity in the so called "voting" system. And Scott Savol outlasting Constantine Maroulis??????

I did like the auditions, some of the
people who thought they could
sing were really funny.
My friends and I quit watching now
because some people are taking
these songs and making what I
call a statement about what they
think the songs mean.
Wish they would leave that out of
these singing shows because I
hear enough everywhere else.

@Donna: I think the only episodes worth watching now will be the final two. For me, the rest is just filler. I *THINK* I know who's going to make it to the top three (Ace, Paris and Mandesa are my pics right now). Or I'll just read about it the day after they pick the winner. Either way, it's just, to me, a TV show.
