Vanished 9-4-2006

Maybe it's because I set my expectations of this show so low, but I actually found this hour to be watchable.

Or maybe it's because I'm depressed and wanted to see the senator die.

Then again, it could have been the writing. And the fact that this episdoe had fewer of those "Look! We've got a computer and can fly around the city with it!" "camera" moves.

Whatever it was, I only switched over to WifeSwap once during the hour. (Okay, twice.)

Oh, yeah, the episode. The senator gets a ransom demand on a phone that was in a locked drawer of his desk. Who put it there? (I'm still thinking the aide, unless it was Sara/Nikki.)

The money was a diversion, which was a neat twist. The hostage takers don't want the money. They want to toy with the Senator. He's a rat in their cage.

Okay, that's about it for this episode. Gale Harold didn't bother me as much this week, due to his lack of air time. And only four weeks 'till his characters rumoured death. (Oh, just remembered that Sara/Nikki has had a child before... 11 years. And she and the senator have been married for 12(?). hmmmm....

Maybe I can just Vanish like Sara.....
