I just don't understand my Dell computer...

If you've been following my trials and tribulations regarding my Dell computer, you'd know that it crashed in December of '06. (If you don't, click on Dell or computer up above next to the yellow star for the posts on it.)

Yesterday I accidently turned it on. It was sitting on the floor next to the other Dell that I'm using all plugged in and ready to go. I turned on the other Dell seconds later. And they both started were ready to go at about the same time.

My broken Dell that gave me the "Primary Drive 0 Not Found" error a couple months ago works pretty good now. And I didn't do a damn thing to it.

I'm starting to think that those Computer Gods are screwing with me.

(I really should just get an iMac....)

mine is still purring along happily...

though I am actually thinking of getting a different brand when I get a new computer this summer

if I get another windows based computer, I'll probably head to Costco and buy an HP. The Compaq line just looks like crap, and Sony desktops seem way to expensive for what you get.

(of course I'm writing this on my old grape iMac is is purring along happily....)

at least with Sams Club, if you have any major problem in the first couple monts you can bring it right back to them.

What I like most about the computers I saw at Costco is that most of the systems came standard with 2gigs of ram for less money than a 1 gig system at Best Buy (which is just across the street here.)

Of course, I'm still debating over mac or windows....

I was thinking of Sams Club, myself. There are a couple nice looking computers there, and the price definately beats Dell.

I havent had to many major problems with my Dell though, so I hope that I have the same luck with a different computer.
