99 six ounce cans of beer on the wall....

Just came back from the store where I saw 6 ounce cans of beer for sale. Half cans.

Would a "real" man buy one of those?

I'd be embarrassed.

It's like admitting you're a lightweight. "Yeah, I can't handle a full can...."

Or you can go to the absurd. "My Sponsor said it was okay...."

I remember back in elementary school my parents (once) bought me 6 oz cans of 7-Up. I thought that was embarrassing.

But beer?

Not only were these cans 6 oz, but they were light beer. Bud Light, I think. I personally have no problem buying Bud Light - guys don't mind buying Light beer for some reason... we must like the taste - but I don't think I could bring myself to buying this.

At least, not at a store in the same town I live in, or where people I know may see me.

I wonder if I should be waiting for Beer in a Box.... now that'll be real white trash.
