Black Donnellys Complete Series DVD

NBC's canceled show The Black Donnellys will be available on DVD September 4, 2007.
I may have given this series a hard time, but it was pretty decent. Confusing, but decent. Hopefully viewing the episodes back-to-back will lessen the confusion. Of course, the narrator, Joey Ice Cream, always annoyed me. But I can overlook him. The characters you care about are the three younger Donnelly brothers.

Yes, please give it a try. You won't be disappointed. It's exciting that the DVD is finally here! I'm praying sales will be good for this too-good-to-be-cancelled series. I, too, am hoping the creators will give us the rest of the story so we can find out what happens to the Donnellys. In a sea of reality tv garbage, this was a beautiful piece of art.

I think you will definitely enjoy the DVD! I know that the first few episodes are a bit slow as they begin to develop the storyline.. but once you hit episode six, you will be hooked to The Black Donnellys!

While it takes awhile to develop these characters, the audience should be patient because this is the best television show I've seen in a long time. I would gladly give up every single show that I watch on television now to have The Black Donnellys back on the air. I can't wait for the DVD and here's hoping that the DVD sales motivate the creators to push ahead with season 2.
