House - September 25, 2007 - Alone

The fourth season premier of House. And he's alone. (Thus the episode title.)

I for one am glad they switched things up a bit this year. Although I liked the relationships House had with Chase, Foreman and Cameron, new blood was needed to keep things interesting. (As long as the show doesn't turn into House Anatomy, that is.)

But... the patient was saved by the same method that's been used since the begging of the series. After a number of failed attempts, House gets his inspiration for a cure from some third party or something he read. It's almost always the same.

But somehow it works.

With some new players and the old returning, I really am looking forward to this season.

And I loved the twist at the end of this episode when they found out who the victim was. And Cutty's chiding of House.

Probably the best (if not one of) House episodes ever.

And Dr. Buffer? Priceless House.
