Gee, I wonder what the number 1 show on tv will be tonight? Homeland Security USA? ha! NCIS? Probably #2 in that hour. American Idol? Duh.

I really have no aspirations to watch AI this year, even with the fourth judge. I usually watch some of the auditions (the best part of the series for me) but this year I may just go on an anti-Idol crusade. Or try to ignore it. Unless, near the end, there's someone worth rooting for.

Back in the world of scripted shows, NCIS sounds interesting. (Well, I thought last week's Women's Prison episoded sounded interesting, but I didn't think it was all that great.) Tonight, Ducky takes center stage after getting stabbed and some of his dark secrets begin to ooze out.

The Mentalist has a witch, a dead football player and a dead cat (none of which, I'm guessing, walked into a bar...). Elena's former partner is missing on Without a Trace. And Benson poses as a Madam on Law & Order: SVU.
