tvTonight - Friday and Saturday April 24 and 25

Lackluster TV weekend.

Friday

Friday, as usual, is a pretty weak night of TV. (Especially since Friday Night Lights is done for the season.) My so-called picks for the evening are indicated with .

ABC has Wife Swap (m, NEW) followed by 20/20 (9pm, NEW, 2 hours).

CBS gives us Ghost Whisperer (m, NEW - soap opera ghost), Flashpoint (9pm, NEW - pregnant woman held for ransom) and NUMB3RS ( 10pm, NEW - Don shot; Charlie distraught.)

CW is all about Everybody Hates Chris (m, NEW) and The Game (8:30, NEW) plus an encore of America's Next Top Model.

FOX puts on the most awful tv show of the century, Prison Break (m, NEW) and one of the most uneven shows of the year, Dollhouse ( 9pm, NEW - Adelle's friend is slain and she gives Echo the dead woman's memories and personality. Creepy.)

NBC is Howie Do It (m, 8:30, NEW) and what Friday would be complete without Dateline NBC (9pm, NEW, 2 hours.)

Saturday

If Friday is bad, Saturday is depressing.

ABC - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Apprentice (m, 3 hours). At least it's a good one.

CBS - Barbara Streisand Live in Concert (m, NEW) followed by and equally disappointing CSI:Miami (9pm, repeat - Horatio's son's mom.) Then 48 Hours Mystery (10pm, NEW).

FOX - Don't mess with greatness with COPS (m, 8:30) and America's Most Wanted (9pm).

NBC - Kings may or may not be on. If not, probably a Law & Order repeat at m. Law & Order: SVU repeat at 9pm, and either a Law & Order repeat at 10pm or a Southland encore.
