First it was a gay kiss on the American soap opera As The World Turns that made many a conservative take up pitchforks and torches and attempted to symbolically storm the gates of Procter & Gamble and CBS. But now As the World Turns has taken things a step further.

I love the christian "value" of hypocrisy.

On Friday, August 17th, the CBS soap opera "As The World Turns" featured two young men kissing. (VsX9RnoHGk">YouTube Video Here.)

Now CBS and Proctor & Gamble (the company that sponsors/produces (?) the show are taking a huge risk here. It's not common to have a gay couple on tv (especially any couples that aren't there for comedy) and here we have two young men starting a relationship. And I guess daytime tv viewers hate this.

I caught a few minutes of Pat Robertson's The 700 Club this morning (and a few minutes is all I can stomach of that) and saw a news segment about California changing a law that would allow sexual orientation to a list of things that teachers or textbooks couldn't demean.
